I got the opportunity to interview the stars of MTV’s new reality series, College Life, which airs on Mondays at 10:30 ET.
Here’s what Jordan had to say:
Tell our readers a little bit about MTV’s “College Life”.
It’s a self-produced TV series where I get to show my freshman year of college experience. I shoot my daily life and different events that I find interesting.
How did you get involved with the show?
I was found on Facebook. I got a Facebook message and was asked to come to a live audition.
Do you think “College Life” will show a realistic representation of college life?
Absolutely. It shows the highlights of my freshman year. Of course there is a lot more bumming around and sleeping all day, but no one wants to watch that.
What do you think college-age viewers will think of the show? What will they learn from it?
I think college students will be able to relate to a lot of the things on the show.
How do you think “College Life” compares with shows like “The Real World” and “The Hills”?
“College Life” is a lot more realistic, plus those shows are filmed by camera crews. Our show is more natural and raw because there aren’t any cameras following us or extra people hanging around.
